The stem cell clinic checklist: the questions to ask any clinic, ours included.

The checklist is 28 items in 5 sections that separate a medical practice from a marketing funnel. Read it on this site or save the PDF: no email, no form, no drip campaign.

You're probably comparing two or three clinics at once, and most of them say physician-led. (It's a popular phrase.) Ask these of every clinic on your list. A clinic that won't answer is telling you something.

A patient coordinator typically calls within 1 business day. About 15 minutes, no cost, no obligation.

The full checklist, 28 items.

Five sections, in the order you meet a clinic: the website, the credentials, the call, the treatment plan, and how safe all of it feels.

Each item is one question with a line on what to notice, and a Yes, Somewhat, or No box beside it. A page near the end shows how to read the pattern.

Three questions most people never ask.

The 28 on the checklist cover the website, the call, and how the decision feels. These three come from the twelve on our cells page, and they are the ones that show whether a clinic tests its cells and has a physician read your scan. Each is quoted as written there, with what a straight answer sounds like.

What's the full testing panel run on every batch?

A serious lab can list it. Ours is six release tests: sterility, identity, viability, potency, endotoxin, mycoplasma.

A straight answer

A list, said without looking anything up, and the name of the lab that ran it. "Our cells are rigorously tested" is not a list.

What viability minimum do you accept for clinical release?

Look for a specific number measured post-thaw, on the lot you receive, not a higher pre-freeze figure.

A straight answer

A percentage, the day it was measured, and the certificate of analysis for your dose on request. The freeze-date figure on a supplier's paperwork is a different number about a different day.

How many physicians will I see during my evaluation and treatment?

The answer should name physicians who review your case and treat you, not a sales coordinator.

A straight answer

A physician's name, and what that physician does with your MRI or X-ray before anyone quotes a number. If the quote arrives before a doctor has seen the scan, ask who decided you were a candidate.

If any answer takes longer than a sentence, that's a signal too.

Ask us these three

What a deflection sounds like, and what a straight answer does.

Every question on the list has a version of each. You'll hear the difference on the first call.

The deflection

The subject changes

  • You asked about the testing panel and heard about the founder's story.
  • "Your healing journey" arrives where a number should be.
  • A testimonial answers a question about the lab.
  • You're asked to decide before you're ready. On a decision this size, pressure is a warning sign.

The straight answer

Names, numbers, paperwork

  • A list of tests, said without checking.
  • A percentage, and the day it was measured.
  • A physician's name, and what that physician does with your imaging.
  • Paperwork on request: the certificate of analysis for your dose.
  • Sometimes, a no. A clinic that declines some cases is telling you it evaluates the rest.

The answers don't change depending on who's asking. If they do at any clinic, including this one, that's the most important signal of all.

Questions about the checklist.

Do I have to give my email to get the checklist?
No. The checklist is a page on this site and a PDF you can save. There's no form in front of either, and nobody follows up because you read it.
Is this checklist only for evaluating Celva?
It's for any clinic, ours included. The questions are about what a clinic does and whether it will say so, and the answers don't change depending on who's asking. Put ours beside theirs.
What if a clinic won't answer one of these?
Then you have your answer. A clinic that runs a real program can name its testing panel, its viability minimum, and its physicians without checking. One that changes the subject, pivots to a testimonial, or asks you to decide first is telling you what the call is for. Move on.

Ask us the same questions.

Your first call is with a Celva patient coordinator, who gathers your imaging, reports, and symptoms and passes them to Celva's physician team for review. Bring the checklist. If you're a candidate, you hear what the plan would be. If you're not, we say so.
